Römer Family Returns to All Saints Kings Heath!
It seems that the summer is finally coming to England! I have been performing Mozart ‘Cosi fan tutte’ at Garsington Opera in Warmsley estate recently. It is a beautiful site and I feel really grateful to be part of this project. The whole production is very inspiring.
In between these projects, I am also busy preparing for our next Sound Bridge Kings Heath concert. Our Hungarian folk music band, ‘Römer Family’ is returning to All Saints Kings Heath on Sunday 19 June (Father’s day!). This very family friendly concert will start at 3:30pm and will last for an hour, with a short Q&A session at the end for some curious members of audience. Please book your tickets from following website!

We’ll be performing traditional folk music from various corners of Hungary and Transylvania, as well as showing influence these folk music have made to some classical music composers. I am learning some new melodies from west Hungary region, and also learning a violin duo written by Bartok with my daughter! It is rhythmically quite challenging for 6 year old, but we’re getting there. It is definitely very special to play a duo with your own daughter!
When we did our last concert last October, some children were dancing, and it was really nice to see them actively enjoying music. Please come along with your family and friends.
