I realise that the words or biography cannot describe one’s performance. As I am a total beginner in the realm of building a website, I will slowly build up the contents of this page.

Biber Rosary Sonata: Live concert recording with Alena Honigova (harpsichord)

in Kvetnov, Czech Republic in Summer 2020

J.S. Bach solo violin sonata in a-minor, Garave (first half)

So here is the first one! This is a track I have recorded for my solo CD, “Monologue.” This is not the end product, as this is the 2nd “take” as I was recording.

This was recorded in a small Church called Andreaskirche in Berlin, Germany. Making a solo violin recording is tricky, because you really need silence. We had to stop recording whenever there were construction, car, air traffic, and even lawn mowing noises!

Turini Ensemble

During lockdown of 2020, I have formed a “Turini Ensemble” with two fantastic musicians: Annabel Knight (Recorder/Traverso) and Robin BIgwood (Keybords/Recoding engineer).

Here is the link to the vimeo showcase of some home recordings, done by Robin.

”Vender” by Peter McCarthy (2018)

While U.K. is under a long lockdown and no concerts are allowed on public, some musicians started to do “Lockdown premier.” This is my attempt of one, performing a piece dedicated to me in 2018 by Peter McCarthy, a wonderful musician. According to Peter, “Vender” is: Shetland word as a verb – to turn in a certain direction, the turn of the tide as a noun – cat, but literally translated ‘the wanderer’
