So, here we are continuing to celebrate 200 anniversary year of Antonio Bruni.

Here is the new video of 2 to Link, playing the first movement of Bruni Concertante Duo for violin and viola Op.25 No.5 in G major. It is an elegant music, with some humorous moment and melancholic moments in between.

Here is the second movement, Allegro con Motto. Well, when I have seen this piece for the first time, I thought there was a typo and it should say “Allegro con moto.” However, just in case, I took out my Italian-Japanese dictionary and checked the meaning of “motto.” It means “witty.” So that was not a mistake, and I hope you can also hear why the title said so!

As before, you can listen to the collection of Bruni Duos we have recorded so far by clicking here.
